This home for a young family was a traditional four square intown ranch. The original kitchen was cramped and poorly laid out, so we removed the wall between the kitchen and family room, which opened up the space, creating room for an island with seating so that the children could be close by while mom cooks.

The space has a beautiful farmhouse style with rustic beams and floating shelves, and an apron front sink with a bridge faucet.
