We worked with Kristin on interior design for our foyer, den, kitchen, formal dining room and family room. Services included room design and layout, paint selection, flooring selections, all light fixtures, carpets, all furniture and accessories. Complicating things was the fact that my husband and I did not have a very solid vision for what we wanted and we relied heavily on Kristin to bring enough examples and ask the right questions to get to a vision that was what we really wanted. We also had an expedited timeline. We first contacted Kristin in October and needed to have design approved, all major maintenance complete (floors and some other construction), furniture selected and ordered, and then everything installed in time for Christmas. Much of the furniture was custom and Kristin worked to find boutiques and manufacturers that could accommodate that timeline and would provide me with alternative options to consider when they couldn’t. Kristin had good contacts in the industry that we were able to leverage and she ran point on much of the custom work working directly with the providers (rugs, windows, pillows, etc.). She stayed calm under pressure and most importantly, at the end of the day, we have a gorgeous home that we are thrilled with and know we never could have done on our own. – Jennifer
